Phase 2 of entrepreneurship means that you now have a multitude of employees, a professional office, real growth. Simply stated, Phase2 requires you are transitioning to a business owner rather than a worker.
And therein lies the grayscale of Entrepreneurship. The area where people may not have been born natural leaders; they may have been shy, not sociable, “nerdy,” reclusive, etc… but have the potential to become great entrepreneurs once they allow themselves to. Once they believe that they can and will.
ACTION ITEM: What will I do today to become more profitable, both personally and professionally? What do I believe about being profitable and what model am I working from or creating? What people will I connect with to advance my goals? Do I need a coach to play my best business game?
Another avenue of this sort of part time Single mom is through Google AdWords. Let’s say you are promoting face lotion. Through Google AdWords you will need to type in a few keywords so when people are searching for your product, your ad will show up on the side. Keep in mind! This can be very expensive! When keywords are competitive, Google can charge you up to three dollars every time some one clicks on your ad! So if one thousand people click on your ad, you could be paying three thousand dollars. There are always some risks involved in any new mission and you have to be prepared to assess these risks, as they present themselves. Everyone, one way or the other takes risks in life. However, most of the risks most people take are the ones that do not bring about any life changing success. Rather, it is the difficult ones that bring the unbeatable prosperity that most people stay away from. In my favorite David and Goliath story, though King Saul offered part of his kingdom as well as good riches to any man that is able to conquer Goliath, everyone stayed away, including the most experienced soldiers of Israel. It was little David who risked his life, fought Goliath, and conquered him. No wonder he later became the king of Israel and very rich.

Well, if the company you work for happens to survive another month, it’s not necessarily an indication that your particular position is safe.
The next morning, I took a leap of faith and mailed out a $250 check as a down payment to begin work on a website. I didn’t have a business name; neither did I have mission statement. But with $250 invested in a website, my mind suddenly became productive. And within a week I had come up with two different business names, a mission statement and a one page biography. An act that led to the creation of Ofili Speaks Inc and a business. A business that has seen me travel all over America and potentially author a book. Accomplishments that were never captured on the pages of a business plans.
I never really understood what he meant until I did finally get my first shot at my own business. You almost need a one track mind and you have to stay on the rails to succeed at starting your own business from scratch. After that it’s all down hill.
