I feel it is vitally important for consumers to know what they are buying. Have you surfed the internet looking at all of this beautiful jewelry and wondered what it meant when someone says.."Swarovski crystals" or "Bali Silver" ?

Swarovski Crystals- Swarovski is world known for their lead crystal. These crystals are the top of the line and the favorite for jewelry designers! (To learn more: http://www.swarovski.com/index/

Czech Glass- Some of the best handmade (and machine made) Glass beads are made in Czechoslavakia. I use only top quality beads, and will include the beads' origin whenever possible.

Lampwork- This is one of the most delicate bead making artforms! Any Lampwork beads that I have will usually be made by me here in my glass studio, or purchased directly from the glass artist that made them! Each lampwork bead is lovingly and painstakenly made by hand one at a time!

Sterling Silver- Silver that is 92.5% pure silver content with the rest being a copper alloy.

Vermeil- Silver base with a layer of Gold bonded to the surface.

Gold Filled- I use only 14KGF unless stated otherwise. This means that a base metal is thickly coated/ bonded with 14K Gold. The amount of the layer (of the GF used by me) is equivelant to 1/20th the weight of the metal. Gold Filled is extremely durable, unlike plated items, and will last almost as long as solid gold pieces without the cost!

Base Metal- Any unknown metal parts that I use will be denoted as base metal. If I am not absolutely positive of a metal type, I will refer to it as base metal. (Base metal may contain nickel. For those who have an allergy to Nickel, please avoid these pieces. I would be more than happy to custom copy any piece, or redo a piece in precious metals-sterling or gold filled/plated, or even 14K Gold for an extra cost).

Clay pieces-All clay pieces are hand made by me using Polymer Clay. Each piece is hand formed, mixed, fired, buffed and polished/coated.
